Nationwide Platforms also provided the contractor with a 25 metre articulating boom lift to access the lower areas of the stand above obstacles at floor level.
Earlier this year, the stand played host to the four day Ebor Festival, one of the last major meetings of the flat racing season.
Work to paint the stand has taken place over the course of the last three months, with UK Site Painters completing work ahead of the final races of the year in September and October.
Richard Miller, Executive Director – Sales and Marketing, Nationwide Platforms, said: “To help our customers meet their deadlines we’re committed to providing the kind of high calibre equipment that we know enables the safest and most effective means of working available. For the York Racecourse work we’ve helped ensure our client can perform to the best of their ability in keeping the Ebor stand looking its pristine best.”
