Interlock is a highly flexible surfacing solution ideal for venues, events companies, architects, landscaping companies or indeed anyone requiring a heavy duty, non-permanent grass surface that can easily be put together then taken apart and stored away. And with its deep cushioning layers Interlock is a safe surface for children to play on.
Interlock has been designed to be simple and easy to lay, the only requirements being a flat surface. The puzzle shaped pieces are simply connected together to form a stable, anti-slip surface that can be used indoor or out.
Interlock has also been rigorously tested for U.V. stability, durability, colour fastness and fire retardants and comes with a full manufacturers’ guarantee and is just part of the range of synthetic grasses available from Quickturf. These include a range of artificial grass carpets, with a pile depth from 7 mm to 30 mm, to suit all tastes and budgets.
Lawns are the biggest users of water in parks and gardens after annuals, so it’s not surprising that people are looking towards synthetic grass as an economical and environmentally friendly alternative. While some people may argue that it can never be the same as real grass, synthetic turf is a viable option where a low maintenance, green lawn is needed that never needs watering, mowing, weeding or feeding, is useable all year round and will never look muddy, bare or half-dead!
Originally developed in Scandinavia, Quickturf and Interlock are manufactured by Saltex, Quickturf’s Scandinavian partner. Saltex has almost 40 years of experience manufacturing carpet and has specifically spent the last 10 years producing the highest quality synthetic turf products.
