They definitely have the market cornered having supplied pies to Everton FC since 2005.
The bakery is supplying a wide range of products to Liverpool for both hospitality and concourse catering and has already worked with the Liverpool catering team to develop a brand new, exclusive pie just for the club’s fans. With a strong festive theme, the layered pie of turkey, sage and cranberry has proved a real winner over the Christmas period.
Managing Director Barry Thomas is delighted to be working with Liverpool as well as Everton. He says: “We have 16 years experience, we pay close attention to quality and service and we use local Lancashire produce and suppliers where possible. Each year we produce more than 8.5m freshly prepared products including pies, bread and cakes.”
Clayton Park’s range on the concourse includes delicious potato and meat – the most popular pie of all, along with steak – their second most sought-after pie as well as the always in demand, “scouse” pie. The bakery’s hospitality range includes some unusual options such as the breakfast pie with its tempting gammon, sausage and beans and there’s also a pie offering a mouth watering combination of potato, meat and mushy peas. As well as their extensive range of pies, the bakery also supplies the club with bread rolls and cakes.
Liverpool fans don’t even have to visit the concourse or hospitality catering services to savour Clayton Park’s delicious pies as the club uses the mobile Hunger Pack from thirstsolution to make the pies readily available to fans wherever they are in the ground. The cutting edge technology of the Hunger Pack ensures that Clayton Park’s pies are always piping hot and in tip top condition.
